Sara and her dog Chevy (Janesville, WI)
Our puppy, Chevy, is currently about five and a half months old. He is our third Rottweiler but the first from Schomberg. I can honestly say that he came to us as a very smart little puppy! I took him to obedience class and the trainer kept wanting to take him because I believe he realized how smart he is. He started classes at about 9 weeks old and had already known how to sit and shake. He quickly learned down, stay, watch me, come, and even immediately listens to us when we tell him kennel. He kn ows several commands and follows me like a shadow. He is by far the most advanced puppy we have owned and I do feel that that has to do with the breeding. He house-trained very quickly as well. He is a great little puppy and full of love and a lot of sass. Although he is still a work in progress he has been a great addition to our family. Our older dog, Vader, has adjusted extremely well to having the little guy come into our home. When I talked about getting another puppy I wondered what on Earth was I thinking? But since he has come to us he has proven that it was the right choice, we wouldn't trade his sloppy puppy kisses for anything, except maybe a towel! This boy turns heads wherever we go and I'm constantly asked how old is he? Because he is very mature already. He is a big boy weighing in at almost 60 pounds already. Although he is young and still learning I can honestly say that I would never hesitate to come back to Schomberg for another puppy.
