The Schomberg Family Welcomes you!
Located in the country among the scenic hills and valleys of beautiful La Crosse, Wisconsin, we have served the upper Midwest and beyond with quality Rottweilers since 1989. My husband of 42 years and myself, along with help from our family run and maintain Schomberg Rottweilers. We also operate a large family farm where Tom and his brother run many acres of cropland and maintain an Angus beef herd. We have a growing family of six children, three son-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, and five darling grandchildren.
Rottweilers have been a part of our home for 32 years. We have a unique pack of Rottweilers formed from selective breeding that stems from our original pair. In the late 1980's we purchased Baron and Gretta. They had wide heads and large frames, OFA certified hips and excellent temperaments. Both lived long healthy lives up to 13 years! Any new bloodlines that come into our breeding program must have OFA certification and the proper temperament. We have been in good standing with the AKC for 32 years. A lot of time and devotion is given to every aspect of what we do here for our dogs.
The puppies we produce today have nice square heads, a thick build, loveable temperaments, and are standard or superior sized adults depending on the mating. Our puppies are well socialized by family members and friends. Today our dogs have become beloved companions to people in over 35 states and overseas. Many are currently being used for: family companions, Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dogs, basic and advanced obedience, agility, conformation, Schutzhund, Search and Rescue and Law enforcement.
