Scott and dog Neeka (Silver Lake, WI)
Neeka was born on 1/30/2016 (Dam - Phoebe & Sire - Ringo). She is our 2nd Rottweiler and was an integral part of our family adventures. Working with Nancy was a great experience and we couldn't wait to get Neeka home and make her part of our family. After 3 short years and 11 months of unconditional love and Rottweiler filled family adventures, we unfortunately had to put Neeka down on 1/2/2020 due to Blastomycosis. It spread quickly to her CNS and she couldn't overcome it. She was truly an amazing dog/family member who had a great demeanor. She was great with people of all ages and other animals. She was very smart and learned quickly. Obedience training was a breeze because she loved to please and be rewarded. Our 3 kids adored her as well as friends and family members that met her. She received an overabundance of love every single day and yes, against popular belief - she slept in our bed with us at night. She was protective when needed and more importantly - obeyed when demanded. She overcame TPLO surgery on her rear left leg when she was 1 year, 10 months old. She overcame another TPLO surgery on her rear right leg when she was 3 years, 1 month old. She battled through the recovery process each time and was good as new. We have a cabin in Northern Wisconsin that Neeka absolutely loved to go to. She was a great snuggler, walking buddy, loved fishing and riding in the boat, loved UTV rides, sitting by the campfires, walking in the woods, beach time and playing in the water, playing fetch/catch, rides in the vehicle, being one with her family. We are still in a state of shock over losing Neeka. But rest assured, we'll be working with Nancy and Schomberg Rotts as quickly as possible to ease the ache in our family's hearts. We are a Rottweiler loving family and look forward to our next chapter of family adventures with our next Schomberg Rott. Scott, Rhonda, Abby, Rachel and Cal Jenkins Silver Lake, WI
