The Truesdells and dog Mehacca and Maple (L'Anse, MI)

Mehacca was born on May 30, 2015 (Hudson and Fannie). We brought Mehacca home from Schomberg’s on July 19,, 2015. He is now 15 months old. We love him so much for his amazing temperament and we decided we needed another one. After talking with Nancy, we decided on a female and on November 6, 2015 we picked up Maple. She was born on September 10, 2016 (Phoenix and Zenith). She is almost one year old. Mehacca is now 130 pounds and Maple is 86 pounds. We expect Maple to continue to grow. Keep in mind, Rottweilers are a handful as any Rottweiler owner will attest to, as they still have their issues with toilet paper and socks, hahaha. Another thing that I would like to add is that they have been well socialized and have gone everywhere with Ken since they came home, we think this is important. They are popular around our town as Ken takes them everywhere. People always ask to pet them and compliment on how well behaved they are. We have three girls ages 10, 11, and 13 and a lot of their friends around the house. Mehacca and Maple are obedient and are respectful of our “wild friends” as we have a large number of white tail deer in our yard. We have had older women that have been licked in the face from chin to forehead and little children that have had their finger licked when they explore their mouths. Neither Mehacca nor Maple have ever growled at a person. We are extremely happy with our dogs and have recommended Schomberg Rottweilers to the many that have admired them. Amazing dogs!
