Lori and dog Roxy (Sheboygan, WI)

Hi my name is Lori Kurtz, my husband and I adopted a 10 week old Rottie from the schombergs back in 2003. We Named her Roxy. She was the best dog I have ever owned. She was gentle and sweet. loved her walks and her girls(our daughters) At 18 months old she developed IBS, due to seasonal allergies(allergic to Maple Trees) With the help from our vet. we were able to keep it under control. Roxy would let me know when she would start having an episode, by walking over to the potato bin and lifting the lid and letting it slam down. We then would start her on her special diet and she would be fine. One October morning in 2010 Roxy's IBS got the best of her and we were face with the devasting news that she was dying. We were so sad to see her go but knew she would be in our hearts forever.  Despite Roxy's illness I would recommend buy a puppy from the Schombergs their dogs have such a awesome temperament, they are truly family dogs.  ​
